Pirwitz, Wilhelmina (15 Nov 1853 - 28 Oct 1916)

Mrs. Aug. Pirwitz died at her home in this city Saturday night, Oct. 28, 1916, after a long illness from consumption.

Deceased was born Wilhelmina Strasburg at Somersdorf, Pomerin, Germany, Nov. 15, 1853. She grew to womanhood there and in 1883 was married to August Pirwitz. The next year they came to America and settled at Lake Mills, where they lived till 1888. They then moved to Clark County, Wis. and bought a farm in the town of Grant, which was their home until three years ago, when they moved to the city. Mrs. Pirwitz was a worthy woman, a kind and helpful wife and mother and a good neighbor. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and three children: a son, Paul Pirwitz at Marshfield, two daughters, mrs. Ida Wegner of Marshfield and Mrs. Anton Roessler of Neillsville.

The funeral was held Tuesday at the German Lutheran Church, rev. H. Brandt officiating.
