OSHKOSH - Robert Lindekugel, 79, of Oshkosh, died Jan. 2, 2003, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Jan. 6, 2003, at Poklasny Funeral Home. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

He was born March 11, 1923, in Loyal, Clark County, Wis. to the late William and Delia (Stelson) Lindekugel. He married Esther Niehaus on June 22, 1949, at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II . He was employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Lindekugel of Oshkosh; son, William (Roxanne) Lindekugel of Naperville, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Lindekugel of Sheboygan and Victor (Helen) Lindekugel of Oshkosh; and many relatives and friends in the Marshfield area.
