Erickson, Marian (21 Mar 1923 - 19 Jan 2003)

Marian Erickson, 79, Curtiss, died on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. The Rev. James Pulham officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Marian Owens was born on March 21, 1923, in Minnesota, to Delbert and Esther Owens. She married Odin Erickson. She was a homemaker and resided in Curtiss most of her life. Her interests included gardening and flowers.

Survivors include four sons, Gilbert (Wanda) Erickson, Curtiss, Daniel (Beverly) Erickson, Curtiss, Michael Erickson, Curtiss, and Allan Erickson, Curtiss; five daughters, Ellouise (Gordon) Koehler, Malone, Christine (James) Pulham, Athens, Jacqueline (Charles) Franz, Spencer, Theresa (Leland) Winslow, Curtiss, and Deborah (Alan) Venzke, Curtiss; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Owens, Salt Lake City, Utah; and three sisters, June Blank, Waterloo, Betty Morris, Newport N.C., and Doris Meadows, Newport, N.C.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Odin Erickson, on May 5, 1995; one son, Dennis Erickson; one daughter, Linda Erickson; two brothers, Robert Owens and Richard Owens; and two sisters, Bernice and Phyliss.

Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, assisted the family with arrangements.
