Bauer, Brad C. (5 JAN 1979 - 8 NOV 2002)

Brad C. Bauer, 23, Spencer, Wis., died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile crash on Highway 13 south of Spencer. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. The Rev. Charles Stoetzel officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery, town of Sherman.

Brad Carl Bauer was born on Jan. 5, 1979, in Marshfield, to Roger and Carolyn (nee Kastberg) Bauer. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1997. He was working for B&B Specialties, Spencer, as production lab technician and assistant manager at the time of his death. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the John Eisen Knights of Columbus Council #1799, Marshfield. He was a Spencer Pop Warner football coach. His interests included basketball, soft-ball, golf and playing cards with family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Roger and Carolyn Bauer, Spencer; two sisters, Amy (Aaron) Yaeger, Black River Falls, and Jacqueline Bauer, Madison; five brothers, Chad (Kim) Bauer, Oshkosh, Benjamin Bauer, Spencer, Timothy Bauer, Spencer, Nicholas Bauer, Spencer, and Alex Bauer, Spencer; one nephew, Chase Yaeger; two nieces, Grace Bauer and Leah Bauer; and grandparents, Gerald and Nancy Bauer, Marshfield, and Carlton and Verabelle Kastberg, Sparta.

Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
