Mrs. W.M. Winn died at Granton, Clark County, Wis. Jan. 10, 1921, after about 2 year’s illness. She was born in La Crosse Co., May 10, 1858, her maiden name being Kate L. Isham, and was married to Webster M. Winn in 1881. They moved on a new farm in the town of York and there developed a fine farm home. In all their years of early struggle and later success, she was a good and faithful helpmate for her husband. Ten years ago they moved to Granton and built a modern home. About two years ago her health began to fail, and in spite of all that could be done she gradually grew weaker until death came to relieve her.

She leaves her husband and five children: Bertha, Mrs. Paul Finner of Mayville, N.D.; Clifford, Floyd and Byrl of Granton and Miss Ruby Winn, a professional nurse, who served as a hospital nurse overseas during the war, and was with her mother during the last few months. She leaves also two brothers, George Isham wh has been with Mrs. Winn and family the past two years and Charles Isham of Manning, N.D., who came with his wife to attend the funeral. She left also ten grandchildren. Mrs. Winn was a woman of the most beautiful Christian Character. Her home life was ideal, a loving and helpful wife and mother and in the community her life was one of fine example and loving service. She was long a faithful member of the M.E. Church.
