Boe, Randena (4 OCT 1865 - 21 Mar 1935)

Mrs. Henry Boe, residing northwest of Greenwood, Clark County, passed away very suddenly Thursday afternoon, March 21, 1935. The cause of her death was a heart ailment from which she has been suffering for the past five years.

Randena Erickson was born in Nas Hedermarken, Norway, Oct. 4, 1865. She was baptized and confirmed in her native land. She came to America in 1893, locating in Blanchardville, Wis. She was married in 1894 to Henry Boe, at Daleyville, Wis.

In 1903 they moved to Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., where she resided up to the time of her death.

Deceased leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and twelve children; (Agnes) Mrs. Brede Vamstad of Longwood; (Hazel) Mrs. H. Thompson, Amos, Milton and Joseph of Greenwood; Thea of Minneapolis; (Manda) Mrs. C.O. Jorenby, (Julia) Mrs. Chas. Ormond, Carl, Alvin, Lawrence and Marion of Randolph, N.Y. She also leaves a sister, Anne Gulickson of Norway and fourteen grandchildren, and other relatives and a host of friends.

Her family mourns the passing of a loving wife and mother, feeling it May truly be said that she left the world a better place by having lived in it.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 1935 at the United Lutheran Church, Rev. M.K. Aaberg officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
