Ziemmendorf, Ruby (Marriage - 29 May 1915)

A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Ed Ziemendorf Saturday at 2:30 p.m., when Mr. Wm. Wittkamp and Ruby Ziemendorf were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Viergutz officiating. The bride was attired in a handsome dress of white satin and shadow lace, wearing a veil crowned with white lilies of the valley; and carried a bouquet of the same. The groom wore a suet of navy blue. They were attended by the bride’s sisters, Grace and Sadie, and her brother Otto, and Arthur Koch. The bridesmaids wore pretty dresses of silk, one light blue and the other rose pink.

After the ceremony wedding pictures were taken and a big supper was served. About thirty-five guests were present at the wedding.

The bride is the fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ziemendorf, a very pretty girl and an accomplished housekeeper; of most ladylike and engaging manners; well qualified to provide over the home she is henceforth to grace.

The groom is a son of Mrs. R. Wittkamp of this town (Neillsville, Clark County), a most worthy young man with the requisite qualities for honest dealings. He has been a street car conductor in St. Paul the past few years. After a few day’s visit here among friends and relatives the young couple will leave next Saturday for St. Paul, where next month, Mr. Wittkamp will again take up his work as conductor.

The best wishes of the community go with Mr. and Mrs. Wittkamp to their new home, and may theirs be a long happy married life.
