Wiedekind, William (1862 - 29 OCT 1915)

Wm. Wiedekind, one of the best known residents of this locality, died at his home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County) Oct. 29, 1915, after an illness of a few months. He was born in Germany in 1862. On coming to this locality he bought land in the eastern part of the town of Grant and by hard work and industry he cleared up and developed a fine farm. A few years ago he visited his native home in Germany. Later he came to Neillsville, where he has made his home until his death. He leaves a widow and six children, three sons and three daughters.

The funeral was held Monday at the Ev. Lutheran Church.
