Miller, Susan (Marriage - 20 June 1992)

Susan Miller, Tannochside, Uddingston, Scotland, and Dr. Allen Teter, Tulsa, Oklahoma, were married Saturday, June 20, 1992, at Word of Life Christian Center, High Blantyre, Glasgow, Scotland. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Robert Miller, father of the bride.

Parents of the couple are the Rev. Robert and Margaret Miller, and Herschel and Colleen Teter, Loyal.

The bride wore a ivory figured satin beaded embroidered dress and a halo veil. Her bouquet was made of white, yellow and pink roses with baby’s breath.

The maid of honor was Gillian Coyle, who wore a gown of mauve satin and carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses.

Best man was Dr. Mark Neuenschwander, Tulsa.

Ushers were Jack McKee and John Ryan, both of Glasgow.

Music was provided by Smets Blitch, pianist; and Catherine and Elizabeth Blitch, vocalists.

A later afternoon buffet reception was held at Crossbasket Castle, High Blantyre, Glasgow, and featured Scottish bagpipes and violin folk music.

The bride has an M.A. with honors in French and Hispanic studies from the University of Glasgow. She is presently employed as a tourist information assistant at the Greater Glasgow Tourist Board.

The groom is a surgeon. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, its medical school, and the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

The couple took a wedding trip to New Zealand and Australia. They will make their home in Glasgow.
