LOYAL - Funeral rites will be conducted Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church here for Ernest Sanger, 81, of route 1, Loyal, who died Friday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Burial will be made in Yolo cemetery at Chili.

Mr. Sanger was born June 12, 1890, in the town of Fremont, Clark County, and received his education in rural schools. He was raised on a farm in the town of Fremont and as a young man had been employed in South Dakota for a number of years.

He was married Oct. 27, 1915, in Fremont township to Emma Franke, who survives him. The couple farmed in Fremont township from 1915 until 1957 when they retired and moved to town. Mr. and Mrs. Sanger celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1965.

Mr. Sanger was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Elmer, Rockford, Ill., and Chaplain Lawrence Sanger, Ft. Bragg, N. C.; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Evelyn) Roehl, Chili, and Mrs. Norman (Mildred) Faber of Granton; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters and a brother.
