Eggebrecht, Augusta (28 OCT 1889)

Married, at the residence of J. D. Wicker in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Monday evening, the 28th, inst., by Court Commissioner, J. D. Wicker, Mr. Eugene Wicker of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., and Miss Augusta, daughter of Charles Eggebrecht, also of the town of Hull.

Mr. Wicker is one of the prominent young farmers in this vicinity, he has made this place his home for the past seventeen years and is known as an industrious, energetic, hard working young man, one of the kind who is bound to get along well in life, and can count his friends by the score.

Miss Eggebrecht has only lived her about five years, but during that time has made many warm and sincere friends, all of whom wish her and "Gene" many years of unalloyed happiness and prosperity. The Phonograph joins with the others and in the language of Rip Van Winkle, "may you live long and prosper."
