Domine, Charles (10 Feb 1887 - 12 May 1932)

Charles Domine, son of John and Eva Domine was born on February 10, 1887, on a farm near Loyal, and died May 12, 1932 in the Marshfield Hospital, being at the time of his death 44 years, 3 months and 2 days of age.

About 20 years ago Mr. Domine left this community and went to Montana where he homesteaded 160 acres of land near Glendive. He returned last fall and spent the past winter on the home farm.

The deceased is survived by his mother Mrs. Eva Palm of Loyal, two brothers, Ed. and John, both of Loyal and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Neipert, Watterloo, Iowa; Mrs. Wm. Bauer, Monticello, Minn., and Mrs. Henry Paasch, Minneapolis, Minn. He also leaves many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, 1932 at the house at 1:00 P. M. and at the M. E. Rev. W. N. Grandy officiating. Pall bearers were Anton Klimmer, Albert Froeba, Joe Wedl, Albert Davel, Henry Adderegg and George Frei. Interment took place in the Union Cemetery.

Among those from away who attended the funeral besides his three sisters were Mr. Nick Prell, Milton, Wis., Leroy Bard and family, Waterloo, Iowa, and May and Fred Neipert of Waterloo, Iowa.
