Miss Clara Velcheck, daughter of Mrs. Barbara Velcheck of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. Schweingruber of East Chicago, were united in marriage at Queen of all Saints’ Church in Chicago by Father Ryan on Saturday, Jan. 24th, 1930. Miss Velcheck has been teaching in East Chicago, Ind. For several years past, and Mrs. Schweingruber is employed there as an athletic coach. The couple will make their home in East Chicago. The many friends of the bride here join in extending congratulations.
