Shefchik, Dawn Marie (Marriage 27 April 1991)

Dawn Marie Shefchik and James Sherman Mueller exchanged married vows at 2 p.m. April 27 at St. Romans Church, Milwaukee, with the Rev. Robert Bertz officiating.

Parents of the couple are Richard and Diann Shefchik of 1301 E. 27th St., William and Betty Martz of Two Rivers, and the late Sherman Mueller.

The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress.

Matron of honor was Doris Russell of Sun Prairie. Bridesmaids were Laureen Shechik of Baltimore, Md., Barbara Goldbach of Marshfield, Beverly Blaha, Debbie Mueller, and Shirley Phillips, all of Two Rivers.

Brad Blaha of Two Rivers was best man. Groomsmen were Don Shefchik of Marshfield, Peter LeClair of Green Bay, John Meissner of Two Rivers, Brad Smith, and Dennis Jacobs of Manitowoc.

Ushers were David Shefchik of Baltimore, Md., Gary Russell of Sun Prairie; Sean Phillips of Two Rivers; and Doug Steinberg of Madison.

The bride is a 1977 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She works for Kuhn Robertson Hill Insurance, Milwaukee, in the customer service department and as an agent. The groom is a 1981 graduate of the Washington High School, Two Rivers. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, and received an associate degree in fire technology in 1985 from Madison Area Technical College. He is a firefighter for the city of Milwaukee.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Pocono Mountains, Penn., the couple will reside in Milwaukee.
