At a 2 o’clock ceremony on Saturday afternoon, in the Methodist Church at Unity, Miss Renate Johnson, Unity, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl I. Johnson, Colby, became the bride of Gordon Lynn Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lynn, Unity. The Rev. Harvey Schall was the officiator.

During the services, Miss Rae Ann Loughead sang "I Love You Truly." She was accompanied by Mrs. Tom Loughead.

The bride chose a white floor length gown of lace over satin, for her wedding. The long sleeves tapered to points at the wrists. A tiny crown secured her finger-tip veil. Roses and carnations made up her bouquet.

Bridal attendants were Miss Barbara Johnson, sister of the bride, maid of honor; and Mrs. Levi Mews, Milwaukee, Miss Caroline Oestriech, Loyal, bridesmaids. They were gowned alike in blue, orchid and yellow floor-length dresses of net and lace. Each wore a floral headpiece to match her dress. Their bouquets were made up of roses, and pink and white carnations.

Russel Lynn, a brother of the groom, Reid Johnson, a brother of the bride, Unity, and Levi Mews, Milwaukee, were the groomsmen.

Eighty-five guests were present at a reception at the Legion Hall at 2:30 o’clock, and at a dinner in the church basement at 4:30 o’clock. Peonies and roses were used for decorations.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Lynn are making their home in Milwaukee.
