Zerkowski, Joseph (1849 - 15 JUN 1931)
Joseph Zerkowski died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls on Monday, June 15, 1931, aged 82 years. Deceased suffered a paralytic stroke about five years ago, since which time he has been helpless. About four weeks ago he was taken to the hospital where it was found he suffered with cancer which caused his death. He had been a resident here for many years and was a highly respected citizen. The funeral will take place this (Thursday) morning from St. Hedwig’s Church, Father Kulig officiating, with interment in the Parish cemetery. He leaves to mourn his aged wife and one step-son.
