Married, at the M. E. Church at Merrimac, Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, 1883, by Rev. T. J. Snodgras, Mr. Arthur Chalfant of Colby, Wis., and Miss Alice Hills of Merrimac.

Mr. Chalfant has been our pastor during the past year, and we are happy to hear that he has concluded that "It is not good for man to be alone," and will henceforth have a better half to aid him in his good work.
