Alstot, Lucile (Marriage - *22 May 1934) * Could be off

Miss Lucile Alstot, daughter of Mrs. Hattie Alstot of this city, was married Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. to James Harvey Quesnell of this city, son of William Quesnell of Stanley, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Peter Weber officiating.

Miss Alstot, who attended the Neillsville high school, and for several years has been employed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Kearns, is a young lady of refined, quiet nature and has made a host of friends since she came to this city from the Town of Grant. The groom who is associated with his brother in the Al-Aboard lunch is a young man of excellent character, industrious and dependable, and has attracted a wide circle of warm friends by his wit and genial disposition during the few years he has been a resident of Neillsville.

The bride was attired in a pretty gown of light blue with white hat, white gloves and white slippers and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers. Mrs. Frank Quesnell, matron of honor, wore a dress of medium blue, a white hate and slippers, and carried a bouquet. Raymond Quesnell, brother of the groom, was best man.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Frank Quesnell home. Guests included Mrs. Hattie Alstot, William Quesnell, Mr. and Mrs. S. Kern, Gilman, Raymond, Quesnell, Mrs. William M. Bann, sister of Mrs. Frank Quesnell, Stanley, and her daughter Betty June, and Joe Bannfield, father of Mrs. Frank Quesnell, Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Quesnell left Tuesday afternoon on a wedding trip to Milwaukee, Chicago, Madison and La Crosse and are expected to return Sunday. They will make their home for the present with Mrs. Hattie Alstot on the North Side.
