Bremer, Emily (18 Jan. 1885 - 3 Jan. 1934)

Mrs. Emily Bremer, whose maiden name was Emily Sack, died of cerebral hemorrhage in Chicago Jan. 3, 1934, aged 48 years, 11 months and 15 days.

She was born at Eau Claire, Jan. 18, 1885, spent her childhood in Chicago and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sack to Clark County.

On Oct. 21, 1916 she was married at her parents’ home on Pleasant Ridge to Frank Bremer, a practical sing hanger of Chicago. They made that city their home after their marriage. Five years ago Mr. Bremer was killed in a street car accident, and since them, until her death, his wife carried on the business.

Mrs. Bremer will be remembered here by many old time friends who will grieve to learn of her death.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. A. R. Swann, four nieces and three nephews, two step-children and a host of other relatives and friends. Her parents, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Brief funeral services were held at the Hanneman Chapel in Chicago.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Lowe’s Funeral Home, Rev. E. H. Vornholt officiating. Burial took place in Neillsville Cemetery.

Those from away who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Swann, Mrs. Ed. Molbsen, Mrs. H. Gehrman of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Zachan and son of Eau Claire.
