Enerson, Carol Jean September 2, 1967

Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Harlin Doescher, Jr. are on a honeymoon to Yellowstone National Park and other parts of western states and upon return will make their home on route 1, Marshfield.

The former Miss Carol Jean Enerson, 110A S. Cherry Ave, daughter of Mrs. Effie Enerson, route 1, Pittsville, was married Saturday, Sept. 2, at 1 p. m. to the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Mannigel, route 1 , Chili.

The Rev T. P. Bradtke, pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church here, officiated at the Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Clarke Turner. Miss Linda Bell was soloist and Mrs. Harold Montag, organist.

Tiers of chantilly lace on a long train styled the floor length gown of the bride. Her bouffant shoulder-length veil fell from a double crown headpiece and her bouquet consisted of red roses with white carnations and lily of the valley.

Floor-length formals of pink, jay green, orchid and aqua with matching trains and head-pieces were worn by the bridal aides. Each carried white and colored gardenias to match her dress color. Miss Judy Enerson of Pittsville was maid of honor and Mrs. Ralph Peterson, Miss Karen Wills, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Sharon Gauger, Spencer, were bridesmaids.

David Mueller, Edgar, served as best man and Gary Enerson, Pittsville, Gary Moll, Junction City, and Myron Freund of Marshfield were groomsmen.

The bride was honored at two bridal showers before her marriage, one on Aug. 5 and the other on Aug. 10. She is a 1966 graduate of Pittsville High School.

The groom, who attended Marshfield schools, is emplyed at Marshfield Homes.
