Ott, Albert (30 April 1887 - 6 Nov. 1933)

Albert Ott was born at Chilton, Wisconsin, Calumet County, April 30, 1887, and passed away Nov. 6, 1933 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison, where he was a patient for seven weeks. The cause of his death being heart ailment; from which he had suffered frequently for sometime. He attained the age of 46 years, 6 months and 6 days. When he was 6 months old his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ott with their family moved to Neillsville and bought a farm in the town of Grant. In 1916 he married Marie Schroeder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Otto, three sons and five daughters, one daughter at the age of one year and a son in infancy preceded their father, and little daughter having passed away thirteen years ago, on Nov. 6, 1920.

He is survived by his wife and six children ranging in age from fifteen to one and a half years. They are Henry, Ruth, Louise, Leana, Edgar, and Doris also his father John Ott, one brother, Ernest; two sisters, Mrs. C. F. Lueck and Mrs. Wm. Seelow and other relatives.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church at Neillsville, from where the funeral was held on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 9. Interment was in the Neillsville Cemetery. The pall bearers were: Harry Roehrborn, Albert Degner, Albert Dahnert, Robert Bruss, Wm. Foemmel and Wm. Naedler.
