OWEN - Michael J. Cook, 44, of Owen, died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Michael Cook

OWEN - Michael John Cook, 44, Owen, died Saturday, April 23, 2005, in the emergency room of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. Visitation will then continue until 8 p.m. following the service.

He was born March 6, 1921, in Chicago, to Harry and Patricia (Bartosiak) Cook. Michael and Lori Muehlbauer were married and were later divorced. He was employed by Weather Shield Inc., of Greenwood.

Survivors include his daughter, Josie Cook, Janesville; his son, Justin Cook, Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Brian Cook, Withee, and Tony Cook, Atlanta; a sister, Linda Cook, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and his grandmother, Phoebe Bartosiak, Owen.
