Matthew and Wendy Cihlar wedding

Wendy Claire Tranberg and Matthew David Cihlar were united in marriage Oct. 9, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.

The Rev. Mark Neumann officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. Music was provided by Erica Fredrickson, pianist, and Bruce Larson and Jenny Tjoflat, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance were held at El Norteno, Curtiss.

Parents of the couple are Allan and Roxanne Tranberg of Abbotsford and David and Kathleen Cihlar of Sturgeon Bay.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Kim Mannetter of Lawrence, Kan. Bridal attendants were Mindy Tranberg of Roseville, Minn.; Brandi Tranberg of Dorchester; Stacie Cihlar of Green Bay; Julie Bobbe of Coon Rapids, Minn.; and Justina Tranberg, Nicole Nyen and Jocelyn Tranberg, all of Blair.

Ben Holzinger of St. Cloud, Minn., was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Cihlar of Oconomowoc, Dave Davis of Woodstock, Ill.; Eric Baillies of Sun Prairie; Adam Wilson of Minneapolis; Jeff Brown of Green Bay; Brad Hoffman of Menomonee Falls; and Jason Baudhein of Manitowoc.

Ushers were Adam Tranberg of Blair and Chris Gregor of Ripon.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Abbotsford High School and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She teaches fifth grade in the Manitowoc School District.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School and earned a bachelor's degree in physical education and adaptive physical education in 2003 from UW-La Crosse. He is an adaptive physical education teacher with the Manitowoc School District.

They live in Manitowoc.
