Lundahl, Bertha (17 JUN 1903)

(bad micro-film - some was unreadable so paraphrasing was necessary in some places)

A very pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. ? Lundahl, two miles south of the village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock, of last week, when their daughter Bertha was united in marriage to Conrad Geiger of Milwaukee.

The house was beautifully decorated with white clover, while in the center of the parlor hung a ? marriage bell, under which the young couple were pronounced man and wife by Rev. F. Moecker, of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, this village.

The maid of honor was Rosa Geiger and George Lundahl acted as best man. The rest of the attendants were Mary, Minnie, Dora and Lizzie Lundahl, Ernest Flen..?, John and Emil Daellenbach and Ben Krakenberger.

The bride was prettily dressed in white organdy with a bridal veil of white tulle and carried a bouquet of white roses, and the groom wore the conventional black. The ? attendants were gowned in pink and carried pink carnations.

After the ceremony a sumptuous wedding supper was served to the guests who number fully a hundred and fifty.

Mr. and Mrs. Geiger departed for their home at Milwaukee, Saturday, accompanied by Mary Lundahl and Rosa and Mary Geiger.

The bride is a most popular young lady who has won the respect of all who made her acquaintance. The good wishes of their many friends follow them to their future home.
