KING - Emanuel A. "Bud" Dutzle, 76, of King, died on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1:30 p.m., at the Maurina Funeral Home, 607 E. 4th St., Owen. The Rev. Tracy Hamelink will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Pallbearers will be Lucas Cornwell, Nathan Arndt, Randy Arndt, Tim Dutzle, Jim Huck and Sam Cornwell.

Bud was born on May 15, 1927, in Jump River, the son of Daniel H. and Lydia (Robinson) Dutzle. He was married to Dorothy Radley on April 27, 1963. Bud lived in Taylor and Clark counties until he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1944. He served in the Pacific until honorably discharged in 1946. He resided in rural Horicon for 38 years prior to entering the Veterans Home at King. He was employed by Chrysler Marine and Force Outboard as a machinist and welder in Hartford, from 1965 until the plant closed in 1991, at which time he retired. He was a member of Christian Life Fellowship in Mayville, life member of American Legion Post 157 and VFW Post 8057 in Horicon.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Dutzle, Waupaca; three children, Ivan (Lisa) Cornwell, Pittsburgh, Pa., Gail (Randy) Arndt, Chancellor, S.D., and Dean (Lesley) Dutzle, Mosinee; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Rozella Dassow, Medford, Adeline Cannon, Mayville, Cora Wahl, Fort Atkinson, Lorna Torchia, Waterville, N.Y., and Betty Lou Frane, Mayville; three brothers, Daniel (Betty Ann) Dutzle, Montello, Roger Dutzle, Mayville, and Lauren (Joan) Dutzle, Mayville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends May call on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from noon until the time of service, at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.

The Maurina Funeral Service and Community Funeral Homes, Owen, is serving the family.
