Seefeldt, Charles (26 NOV 1891 - 10 Feb 1962)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services will be held at Harvard, Ill., Tuesday afternoon for Charles Seefeldt, 70, of route 1, Neillsville, who died in Memorial Hospital here Saturday following a stroke last Tuesday. Burial will be made at Alden, Ill.

The body was taken to Harvard today after reposing at Bergemann Funeral Home here.

Mr. Seefeldt was born on Nov. 26, 1891, at Summit, Wis. He received his education at Genoa City, and on Nov. 9, 1916, he was married to Edna Hentzien at Alden, Ill. They farmed for awhile and then went into the lumber and coal business at Alden. They sold the business and went into trucking. In 1950 they moved to a farm in the town of York, Clark County. Mr. Seefeldt was a member of the Methodist Church at Alden, Ill.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, John Seefeldt, Granton, and Charles Seefeldt, Pittsville; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Betty) Montgomery, Granton and Mrs. Randall (Norman) Cantrell, Neillsville; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Seefeldt, Kenosha, and a sister, Mrs. Virgil (Florence) Richter of Twin Lakes.

Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
