O'Leary - Mabel O'Leary

Funeral services for Mrs. Russel O'Leary, who passed away at a hospital, at 8:35 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 21, 1942, were held at the Free Methodist church in this village last Friday afternoon. The Rev. W.T. Fensome, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. J.K. Peckham, officiated. Musical selections were by Rev. Fensome and Miss Eberly. Interment was in the Mentor Cemetery.

Mabel Courchaine was born in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, on May 17, 1909. She was baptised in the Holy Cross Church at Mishicot. She lived with her parents on a farm in Gibson township, and completed the eight grade in the rural school. She then attended th Washington high school, in Two Rivers, from which she graduated with the Class of 1927.

On April 16, 1928, she was united in marriage wirh Mr. Russel O'Leary, of Humbird, WI. To this union were born two children: Cornelia and Alton. In 1932, she moved with her husband, from Two Rivers, to their farm near this village, which was her home until her untimely death, at the age of 33 years, 4 months, and 4 days.

Mrs. O'Leary is survived by her husband and two children; her mother, Mrs. Joseph Courchaine, of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Clement Michels, Two Rivers, and Mrs. Zdneb Dushels, Valders; and three brothers: Charles and John, at Two Rivers; and Peter, of St. Petersburg, Florida. A number of other relatives and a large circle of friends are also mourning her death.
