Gorman, Cornelius F. (21 Oct. 1861 - 24 Aug. 1932)

Cornelius F. Gorman passed away at his home in this city at 4 o’clock a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 1932. He had been in poor health for some time but was able to be up most of the time, until shortly before his death.

Mr. Gorman was born at Cherryfield, Wis., Oct. 21m, 1861, being the son of Thomas and Lucy Gorman. When he was two years old his parents moved to Oshkosh, Wis., where he grew to manhood. In July, 1886, he was married in Neillsville to Martha J. Coszell, who survives him. Since their marriage they have made their home here.

Mr. Gorman worked at various occupations in earlier life, but for a number of years past was employed at the Condensary. He was a faithful and competent worker, a man of quiet habit and well liked by all who knew him. Of the five children born to Mr. and Mrs. Gorman, four are living; Edward in Chicago; David at home; Elva, Mrs. A. L. Sherman, and Mary, Mrs. Robert Boness, both residing in Neillsville.

The funeral was held Friday at the Schiller Funeral Home, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
