Bought Hanusa Farm.

Another real estate transfer was made the last of the week whereby Fred Christen become the owner of Henry Hanusa’s farm in the town of Cleveland. The consideration was $6,400. This farm is one of the best in that part of the town of Cleveland and has been well managed and kept up during the time Mr. Hanusa has lived on it. The new owner is a practical farmer and that he will make a success of it is assured beyond a doubt. Possession will be given next spring. Mr. Hanusa has rented the A. G. Miller place and will move onto it when he relinquishes his present home.

Aug. Frank, who was injured some weeks ago by being run over by a separator, is able to be up and around the house.

Floyd Thompson and wife, of Tomas, were guests at the Ben Miller home a part of the week. He is a nephew of Mrs. Miller’s.

S. A. Wise returned Thursday from a trapping expedition up to G. A. Buttler’s place. He brought home a sack of pelts and a wolf scalp.

Jas. Woodward, wife and daughter, of Poynette, were visitors at the home of his brother-in-law John Peterson, near here a part of the week.

A.H. Blake, formerly a resident of Humbird, but now located at Baker City, Ore., is a new reader of the Enterprise. He is prospering in his western home.

John Gluth and wife left for North Freedom Friday, after spending the summer here. Mr. Gluth expects to return next summer and work at the carpenter trade
