Sauve, Edna (1864? - 2 Mar 1926)

We received a letter this morning from Peter Sauve at Fond du Lac informing us of the death of his mother, Mrs. Joseph Sauve, at the above place.

The Sauves will be remembered by all the older settlers as they lived here (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) a number of years ago, leaving for Fond du Lac a little over 20 years ago. Mrs. Sauve will be remembered as a kindly, soft-spoken lady, well liked by all who knew her and the old friends here join us in offering sympathy to those who have lost a beloved one.

Following is the obituary taken from the Fond du Lac paper:

"Mrs. Edna Sauve, aged 61, wife of Joseph Sauve, died at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday, March 2nd, 1926, at her home, 130 Walnut St. She had been ill for some time. She was born in Montreal, Canada. The funeral was held Saturday, Mar. 6th at 9 a.m. from the residence and at 9:30 from St. Louis Church. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. The Rev. J. R. Racette conducted the services.
