Bartz, Everette D. (28 May 1933 - 19 Apr 1987)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Everette D. Bartz, 53, Neillsville, was pronounce dead-on-arrival at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, following an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gesche Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Ott of United Methodist Church, officiating. Iris Musil will be the organist. Burial will be in the Immanuel Methodist Cemetery, Route 1, Chili. Relatives will be pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.

He was born May 28, 1933, in the Chili area in Wood County to Robert and Mildred Bartz. He attended schools in the town of Fremont, Clark County, and Neillsville elementary and high schools.

He entered the U.S. Navy in 1951, and served throughout the world for about 30 years, as an electronics mate-first class. After his discharge in 1979, he lived in Florida, before moving to Neillsville about two years ago.

He was a member of Haugen-Richmond American Legion Post 73 of Neillsville.

Surviving are his parents of Neillsville; five sisters, Mrs. Arlene Hund of Appleton, Mrs. Leonard (Norma) Kurtz of Milwaukee, Mrs. Howard (Fern) Lebund of Caldwell, N.J., Mrs. Eugene (Evelyn) Jepsen of Granton, and Dorothy Greengard of Neillsville; and a brother, Milan of Cudahy.

He was predeceased by a brother, Alvin.
