Bohte, Frank L. (21 April 1914 - 22 Nov. 2004)

w/flag DORCHESTER -Frank L. Bohte, 90, of Dorchester, town of Little Black, died Nov. 22, 2004, at Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation in Medford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in the town of Little Black, where graveside rites will be conducted by Boxrucker-Berry American Legion Post 519.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hemer Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. prayer service.

He was born April 21, 1914, in the town of Greenwood to Joseph and Anna (Plautz) Bohte. He married Viola E. Wacek on June 14, 1941, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 16, 2000. He served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He farmed in the town of Little Black until his retirement in 1976.

He is survived by his son, Frank (Margaret) Bohte, town of Little Black; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons; three sisters, Angeline Schemberger, Wauwatosa, Frances Seidel, Medford, and Dorothy Wiegel, Medford; and two brothers, Ed (Estelle) Bohte, Rib Lake, and Joe (June) Bohte, Monterey Park, Calif.
