Feind, Arthur Gustav (22 Oct. 1923 - 15 Oct. 2004)

Arthur Gustav Feind, 80, Owen, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery, town of Colby.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

OWEN - Arthur Gustav Feind, 80, Owen, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery, town of Colby, Clark County.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

He was born Oct. 22, 1923, to Carl and Amanda (Wiedenhoeft) Feind in Colby. He served for the Marines in Guadalcanal and the South Pacific during World War II. He married Maxine C. Hoffman in 1947 in Abbotsford. They moved to Rochester in 1951, and Feind joined the Rochester Police Department, from which he retired as a detective after 20 years. He married Lois Greschner in 1980 and resided in Owen until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, Owen; daughters Deatra (Wesley) Moody and Annette Feind, both of Yuma, Ariz.; three stepsons Jeffrey (Janet) Greschner, Michael (Arlene) Greschner and Phillip Greschner, all of Owen; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters Laura Kumbier, Colby, and Verna, Irene and Alida Feind, all of Milwaukee.
