SUDDEN DEATH OF JAY CURTIS

The community of Heathsville and surrounding county was saddened Wednesday when the news came of the death of Jay Curtis, who died after an illness of a few days of blood poisoning. The deceased was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Curtis and was nineteen years of age.

He came to Heathville with his parents from Richland Co. about four years ago and was employed at Granton as a barber and prior to that time worked in Spencer.

He was a young man of excellent habits and had a large circle of friends who will morn his unexpected death. The funeral services were held at Granton Saturday afternoon, internment was in the Granton cemetery.
