Kliminski, Helen (8 NOV 1920 - 30 APR 2000)

Helen Kliminski, 79, formerly of Thorp, Clark County, WI, passed away on April 30, 2000 in Long Beach, CA.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1920 to George and Helen Jakowicz in the town of Withee. She married Chester Kliminski and farmed just east of Pineland School until 1963, when the family moved to southern California. Helen was a member of St. Hedwig's Church and an active Altar Society member of St. Hedwig's Church. She enjoyed the warm winters in California but missed friends in Thorp. Besides raising a family she worked as an aide in a hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester in 1978; daughter Carol in 1985; a son Raymond in 1996; sister Julia and brother Justin. Survivors include daughter Dorothy (Bob) Hawley, Long Beach, CA; sons: George (Delores) Kliminski of Madison, WI, Roger (Lynn) Kliminski of Irvine, CA and John (Andrea) Kliminski of Pine, CO. She also leaves grandsons: Kurt and Karl of Madison, WI, Rachel, Justin and Kyle of Irvine, CA and Samantha and Sarah of Pine, CO and 2 great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Samantha of Madison, WI.

Services were held at St. John Catholic Church in Irvine on May 4, 2000 with burial to take place at a later date in California.
