Hall, Rena Marie (20 August 1983)

St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, was the setting for the August 20 wedding in which Miss Rena Marie Hall, daughter of Mrs. Magdalena Westhoff Hall of Loyal. and James Edward Kosik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kosik of Thorp, were wed.

Officiating was the Rev. James J Logan. Margaret Gosar and LaVerne Gregorich provided musical selections.

The bride, given in marriage by Walter Westhoff Jr., had a Victorian gown of chantilly and venise lace and a matching lace-covered picture hat with long veil. Her bouquet was comprised of white gladioli, red roses and baby's breath.

Miss Ruth Fravert of Loyal was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Patty Oldham of Greenwood, JoAnn Debevec of Neillsville and Annette Pehlgrim of Griffith, Indiana, Bridesmaids. They had violet formals and lace jackets. Each had a bouquet of pink carnations, violet gladioli and baby's breath.

Attending the bridegroom was Dave McFarlane of Greenwood as best man and Patrick Herrick, Willard, Dan Kosik of Thorp and Jason Hall, Loyal, Groomsmen. Ushering were Keith "Ody" Oldham and Randy Horn of Greenwood.

The reception and dance were at the Greenwood legion Clubhouse. The wedding supper was at Church. Willard is the home of the newlyweds.

The bride graduated from Loyal High School. Her husband, a Thorp High School graduate, works for Wuethrich's Creamery in Greenwood.
