Schilling, Martha V. (Marriage - 9 June 1926)

Miss Martha V. Schilling, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Schilling who lives one and one half miles west of Chili, and Mr. Walter G. King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. King of Coloma, Wis., were married in the Evangelical church two miles south west from Chili, last Wednesday, June 9th at 1:30 p.m. Rev. G. E. Zellmer of Marshfield, pastor of the church officiated. Miss Naomi Foemmel, and Mr. Gilbert King, brother of the groom were witnesses. The church was very beautifully decorated for the occasion and an appropriate wedding march was played by the sister of the groom. Many relatives and friends had gathered in the church to witness this beautiful wedding.

A fine social time and a bounteous supper was enjoyed by all at the home of the bride’s mother. The home being decorated in a very artistic manner for event.

The young people will make their future home at Coloma where the young man is engaged as a clerk in a general store. The best wishes all go with the young people to their new home.
