Gluck, Emma F. (1 SEP 1926)

On Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1926, at 11 o'clock a.m. the home of Mrs. Frieda Gluck on South Hewett St. was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when her daughter Emma F. Gluck was united in marriage with Mr. Arthur William Olson of Eau Claire, Rev. H. Brandt, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. The bride and groom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Radtke of Wausau, Mrs. Radtke being the bride's sister.

The bride was dressed in peach georgette, trimmed with white and gold and carried a bouquet of white tea roses. Mrs. Radtke was dressed in bluebell georgette, trimmed with gold lace and wore a corsage bouquet of pink tea roses. The color scheme of the room decorations was pink and white, the table decorations being ferns and smilax.

The bride has lived practically all her life in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., attended our city schools and has had considerable business experience with local firms here. For some time past she has had a position in the C. C. Sniteman Co. Drug Store. She is a young lady of pleasing personality and has a wide circle of friends in a social way, and also among those whom she has met in business relations. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Olson of Eau Claire. He graduated from the high school in that city and later from the Eau Claire State Normal School. He has been engaged as teacher of Science and Physical Training in Neillsville High School for the past two years and is engaged again for the coming year. Mr. Olson is a young man of talent and well liked personally and professionally.

After a bountiful wedding dinner the young couple left on an auto trip to the Twin Cities and other points. On their return they will make their home for the present with the bride's mother.

The Press extends congratulations and best wishes.

Those from out of town attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Olson, the groom's parents; his sister, Mrs. S. T. Shane and daughter Betty; two sisters, Misses Hannah and Evelyn Olson, all of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Radtke of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. John Gluck and family, Mrs. Marie Gluck and Mr. and Mrs. August Loeffler, all of Granton.
