Bloomquist, Mabel E. (21 JUN 1924)

Mrs. Anna Bloomquist, 1645 Fourth Av., announces the marriage of her daughter, Mabel E. to John Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson, Cleveland Road, June 21st, 1924 at Rockford, Ill., at 3:30 o'clock at the parsonage of Swedish Mission Church. The Rev. A. T. Frykman officiated.

The bride wore a gown of white georgette crepe and lace and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. Her bridesmaid, Miss Mildred Anderson, wore a frock of green crepe de chine with corsage bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. Elmer Anderson was best man.

After the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served to 30 guests at the home of the bride's mother. Decorations were in pink and white peonies. Mr. and Mrs. Larson left for a motor trip through Wisconsin before returning to make their home here. Mr. Larson is with the Illinois Cabinet Co.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kullberg, the latter a sister of the bride and their son, John, who attend the wedding, left immediately for Kingsbury, Cal., where they will make their home.

John Larson was a former Columbia, Clark County, Wis. boy and grew to manhood there. He is a most worthy young man. He served in the World War, being stationed at Camp Grant, Ill. Since being discharged from the army he has had employment at Rockford, Ill. His bride is a most capable young lady and is highly esteemed by all who know her. Their many friends join in wishing them success and happiness.
