Schwedland, Wilhelmina (26 July 1857 - 10 June 1925)

Last week Wednesday, June 10, Mrs. Henry Schwedland of Columbia died suddenly while working alone in her garden. When her husband who was absent, returned home he found her lying where she fell.

Mrs. Schwedland whose maiden name was Wilhelmina Bohn, was born in Klien Nuhr, Germany, July 26, 1857. She was married to Henry Schwedland November 22, 1882, in Koenigsburg, Germany. In June 1898 they arrived in this country and settled at Columbia on a little farm where they lived ever since. She was a woman who was loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves her husband and five children, Alfred, Bruno, Edwin, Hertha and Leo all out in the world.

The funeral was held at the home Sunday, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. Burial took place at the cemetery near Columbia.
