George Thayer, member of the Clark County Board from the village of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died quite suddenly at Phlox, Wis., last week Thursday, while visiting relatives at that place. Mr. Thayer was one of the prominent men of the northeast part of the county. His wife died a few weeks ago and he left no children. He was a brother of W. J. Thayer, a prominent businessman of Granton, Clark County.
