Obit: Southard, George (? - 1930)

George Thomas Southard was the youngest brother of my Great Grandfather John E Southard. In the early months of 1924 John was working in Seattle Washington at a sawmill. There he was struck in the abdomen by a heavy board or large tree limb. Much later, he became ill, the doctors suspecting appendicitis. During the surgery, they found that gangrene had set in and spread through his entire system from the injury. He died on the operating table, never regaining consciousness. I am in hopes to find a photograph of George Southard as I have never seen one, as well as any of his family members as I only have 3 photos of John and none of any other.

(Additional note from Michael)

John E Southard is my Great Grandfather. His father is Asa. Mother Helen.  John married Lena Davis and had 2 children. Maxine and Gerald. The later my Grandfather. I too now have a son, so this line continues.
