Mrs. Joseph Bolton, who has been visiting friends here the past week, returns to her home in Humbird today. Mrs. Emma Bolton will close a successful term of school in the Garvin district next Friday. Les Mack and wife start for Indianapolis, Indiana next week. S. D. Gibson sports a new cutter and harness. Al Garvin is making preparations to build a barn in the coming summer. School closes in District No. 3, the 17th of March. L. A. Crocker is the teacher. Misses Effie and Mable Gibson, who are attending school at Neillsville this winter, spent Sunday with their parents. A. W. Hales lost a valuable colt last week by choking to death. Charlie Campbell has finished hauling lumber from Spokeville to Neillsville for J. C. Marsh, and is now hauling for John Corzett, who has a job of hauling for J. C. Marsh. S. W. Bolton and family are on the sick list.
