Miles, Emily (18 OCT 1921)

The home of Mrs. Cora Miles was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday evening Oct. 18, 1921, when her daughter, Emily, was united in marriage to Mr. Bruce Erwin of Marshfield. Rev. Knaak performing the ceremony.

The bride was becomingly attired in a dress of blue crepe de chine and was attended by her sister, Blanch. The groomsman was Mr. Ben Erwin, a brother of the groom.

After the ceremony, supper was served to the wedding party and guest which were the immediate relatives only.

Miss Miles is a graduate of our local high school (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) and was a student of Bushey's Business College at Appleton and for the past eight months has been employed at the store of Ben Picus as cashier. The bride is very well known here and has a pleasant, sunny disposition that endeared her to all who knew her.

The groom is a prosperous young farmer and although a stranger to many here is well spoken of by those who know him.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin left the same evening for a trip to Kilburn and the Dells and will be at home at Marshfield after Nov. 1st.

The Tribune joins with a large circle of friends in extending congratulations.
