Robbins, James W. ( *15 October 1839? - 16 Jan. 1922)

 

James. W. Robbins, at Pueblo, Colo., Jan 16th , 1922, at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and one day.

 

Mr. Robbins was one of the pioneer settlers of Clark County, having moved to the town of Weston near Christie P.O. right after the Civil War and settled on a farm near La Fleur’s mound, where he resided for a number of years. For the past few years he has made his home in an old soldiers colony at Zephyrhills, Florida, and came to Colorado a short time ago to visit with his sons, who live in Denver.

 

He leaves a widow, Mrs. J. N. Robbins, a daughter, Mrs. H. M. Loomis, of Milwaukee, Wis, and two sons, C. J. of Dayton, Ohio, and H. B. of Denver, Colo.
