Krimmer, Gertrude (2 May 1917)

A beautiful wedding took place on May 2, 1917, at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Lawrence Church, Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, when Miss Gertrude Krimmer and Mr. Joseph Reback were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Dieringer officiating.

The bride was attired in a gown of white satin trimmed with pearls, her long tulle veil being caught with a wreath of white sweet peas.. Miss Mae Krimmer, the maid of honor and Miss Elsie Reback, the bridesmaid, both wore gowns of pink satin and draped with georgette crepe, each carrying a bouquet of tulips. The best man was Mr. William Krimmer and the groomsman, Mr. Harold Hintz.

A reception was given after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, the nearest relatives being present. The bride was a well known young lady of this vicinity (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) until a short time ago.
