Barber, Dr. At the city council meeting Tuesday evening Dr. Barber was appointed city health officer in place of Dr. Churchill, who is moving away from us. G. W. Bishop was appointed justice of the peace in place of M. J. Trott, who failed to qualify. P. J. Tscharner was appointed police justice in place of C. A. Adamson.

Brown, Dr. C. H. Dr. C. H. Brown made up a lot of silver bullets and taken his forceps and other dangerous apparatus and gone out with Erastus Bowen and Rev. W. E. Kloster for a few days’ hunt after the light footed deer, the forests around Perkinstown to be their happy hunting grounds.

Einfeldt, Ed. Ed. Einfeldt returned from Chippewa Falls Friday morning where he attended a county convention of the Sunday School workers of the county. A county organization was perfected, Rev. John Willian, formerly of Neillsville, WI but now of Chippewa Falls, being president, and Mrs. Z. W. Commerford of Stanley, secretary.
