Hake, Esther (Marriage - 22 Nov 1910)

A very pretty wedding took place Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, 1910, at the Catholic Church, when Mr. Henry Hubing and Miss Esther Hake were united in marriage, Rev. Dorrenbach officiating.

The bride wore white satin and veil, and carried roses. The groom was attired in customary black. The bride was attended by two sisters of the groom, Misses Clara and Celia Hubing, and the groom by two brothers of the bride, Rush and Warren Hake.

After the ceremony, a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Hake in the town of Grant, Clark County, where a large number of guests were royally entertained during the afternoon and evening, music for the occasion being furnished by Whitcomb’s orchestra. The groom is a thrifty young farmer, who was brought up in the town of Grant, but who has located in Montana. The bride is a bright energetic young lady, well equipped to do her part in the making of the new home. After a trip to Ft. Atkinson, Milton Junction and other points, they will go to Union, Montana, where the groom is located.
