Wolff, Elona (Marriage - 1 Sep 1910)

Last Thursday morning, Sept. 1, 1910, Miss Elona Wolff and Mr. Chas. Doerr were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Mary B.) Wolff, Rev. H. A. Risser officiating. Miss Amelia Doerr and Dell Wolff and Harry Benedict and Genevieve Eunson attended the bride and groom, the wedding march from Mendelsohn, being played by the bride’s cousin, Jessie Wolff.

The bride wore white mescaline and carried a bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley, the bridesmaids carrie cream roses. The rooms were tastily decorated with roses, ferns and hearts. After the ceremony the company, which consisted of relatives and close friends, sat down to a sumptuous wedding dinner.

The bride was born and brought up here (Neillsville, Clark County), was educated in our schools and is a general social favorite. The groom, who is a mechanic, lives at Maywood, Ill. He is a young man of high reputation and good personal appearance, impressing all who have met him most favorably. The young couple left at once for a wedding trip through the west. On their return they will make their home at Maywood, Ill. We join in offering best wishes for their happiness.
