Broderick, Marie (Marriage - 22 Jun 1910)

Mr. Chas. E. Huntley and Miss Marie Broderick were married Jun 22, 1910, at Minneapolis. The groom was attended by Mr. Mead, a Minneapolis friend, and the bride by her sister, Miss Bee Broderick, of Waseca, Minn. The bride was dressed all in white and carried white roses, the bridesmaid being dressed n pink and carrying pink roses. After the ceremony a luncheon was served at the flat which the groom had furnished and where they at once began housekeeping. The relatives from away who attended the wedding were Miss Bee Broderick of Waseca, Minn., Mayor Wm. Huntley, of Neillsville, Clark County, and the groom’s sister, Mrs. G.O. Richardson and daughter of Fargo, N.D.

The groom, who is the son of Mayor and Mrs. Wm. Huntley, is well known here, having grown up in Neillsville. About ten years ago he went to Minneapolis and took a course in a Business College, after which he entered the office of Curtiss & Yale, large manufacturers of lumber and building materials. He has met with steady promotion by reason of his efficiency and constant attention to business. He is another Neillsville boy who has made good. With the young folks of his school days, "Chud", as he was familiarly known, was a general favorite. The bride is a trained nurse; she is a stranger to most people here, but we May easily guess that the groom’s judgment has not gone astray in this matter, since he has always shown himself to be a young man of first rate common sense. We join in wishing them a pleasant and successful life.
